Compositions of shawls of those years were decided magnificently, solemnly, or, on the contrary, easily and gracefully. In their decor, along with floral ones, ornamental motives of styles of previous eras were used: stylized branches, curls, conventionally arranged flowerpots, scalloped ribbons in complex spreads.
